भुञ्जीत तैरनुज्ञातः शेषं सेष्टः सभाजितैः । ब्रह्मचार्यथ तद्रात्र्यां श्वोभूते प्रथमेऽहनि ।। ८-१६-४४ ।।

sanskrit

One should perfectly honor the respectable brāhmaṇas one has fed, and then, after taking their permission, one should take prasāda with his friends and relatives. For that night, one should observe strict celibacy, and the next morning, ।। 8-16-44 ।।

english translation

जिन सम्मान्य ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराया हो उनका भलीभाँति सत्कार करे और तब उनकी अनुमति से अपने मित्रों तथा सम्बन्धियों सहित स्वयं प्रसाद ग्रहण करे। उस रात में पूर्ण ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करे और दूसरे दिन प्रात: ।। ८-१६-४४ ।।
