श‍ृतं पयसि नैवेद्यं शाल्यन्नं विभवे सति । ससर्पिः सगुडं दत्त्वा जुहुयान्मूलविद्यया ॥ ८-१६-४० ॥

If one can afford to, one should offer the Deity fine rice boiled in milk with clarified butter and molasses. While chanting the same original mantra, one should offer all this to the fire. ॥ 8-16-40 ॥

english translation

यदि सामर्थ्य हो तो भक्त अर्चाविग्रह पर दूध में घी तथा गुड़ के साथ पकाये चावल चढ़ाए। उसी मूल मंत्र का उच्चारण करते हुए यह सामग्री अग्नि में डाली जाये। ॥ ८-१६-४० ॥
