When ghee [clarified butter] was offered in the fire of sacrifice, there appeared from the fire a celestial chariot covered with gold and silk. There also appeared yellow horses like those of Indra, and a flag marked with a lion. ।। 8-15-5 ।।

जब यज्ञ-अग्नि में घी की आहुति दी गई तो अग्नि से स्वर्ण तथा रेशम से आच्छादित एक दैवी रथ प्रकट हुआ। साथ ही इन्द्र के घोड़ों जैसे पीले घोड़े तथा सिंह चिन्ह से अंकित एक ध्वजा प्रकट हुए। ।। ८-१५-५ ।।
