काञ्चीगुणोल्लसच्छ्रोणिं हृदयाम्भोजविष्टरम् । दर्शनीयतमं शान्तं मनोनयनवर्धनम् ।। ३-२८-१६ ।।

sanskrit

His loins and hips encircled by a girdle, He stands on the lotus of His devotee’s heart. He is most charming to look at, and His serene aspect gladdens the eyes and souls of the devotees who behold Him. ।। 3-28-16 ।।

english translation

उनकी कमर तथा कूल्हे पर करधनी पड़ी है और वे भक्तों के हृदय-कमल पर खड़े हुए हैं। वे देखने में अत्यन्त मोहक हैं और उनका शान्त स्वरूप देखने वाले भक्तों के नेत्रों को तथा आत्माओं को आनन्दित करने वाला है। ।। ३-२८-१६ ।।

अपीच्यदर्शनं शश्वत्सर्वलोकनमस्कृतम् । सन्तं वयसि कैशोरे भृत्यानुग्रहकातरम् ।। ३-२८-१७ ।।

sanskrit

The Lord is eternally very beautiful, and He is worshipable by all the inhabitants of every planet. He is ever youthful and always eager to bestow His blessing upon His devotees. ।। 3-28-17 ।।

english translation

भगवान् शाश्वत रूप से अत्यन्त सुन्दर हैं और प्रत्येक लोक के समस्तवासियों द्वारा पूजित हैं। वे चिर-युवा रहते हैं और अपने भक्तों को आशीष देने के लिए उत्सुक रहते हैं। ।। ३-२८-१७ ।।

कीर्तन्यतीर्थयशसं पुण्यश्लोकयशस्करम् । ध्यायेद्देवं समग्राङ्गं यावन्न च्यवते मनः ।। ३-२८-१८ ।।

sanskrit

The glory of the Lord is always worth singing, for His glories enhance the glories of His devotees. One should therefore meditate upon the Supreme Personality of Godhead and upon His devotees. One should meditate on the eternal form of the Lord until the mind becomes fixed. ।। 3-28-18 ।।

english translation

भगवान् का यश वन्दनीय है, क्योंकि उनका यश भक्तों के यश को बढ़ाने वाला है। अत: मनुष्य को चाहिए कि पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् तथा उनके भक्तों का ध्यान करे। मनुष्य को तब तक भगवान् के शाश्वत रूप का ध्यान करना चाहिए जब तक मन स्थिर न हो जाय। ।। ३-२८-१८ ।।

स्थितं व्रजन्तमासीनं शयानं वा गुहाशयम् । प्रेक्षणीयेहितं ध्यायेच्छुद्धभावेन चेतसा ।। ३-२८-१९ ।।

sanskrit

Thus always merged in devotional service, the yogī visualizes the Lord standing, moving, lying down or sitting within him, for the pastimes of the Supreme Lord are always beautiful and attractive. ।। 3-28-19 ।।

english translation

इस प्रकार भक्ति में सदैव तल्लीन रहकर योगी अपने अन्तर में भगवान् को खड़े रहते हुए, चलते, लेटे या बैठे हुए देखता है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर की लीलाएँ सुन्दर तथा आकर्षक होती हैं। ।। ३-२८-१९ ।।

तस्मिन् लब्धपदं चित्तं सर्वावयवसंस्थितम् । विलक्ष्यैकत्र संयुज्यादङ्गे भगवतो मुनिः ।। ३-२८-२० ।।

sanskrit

In fixing his mind on the eternal form of the Lord, the yogī should not take a collective view of all His limbs, but should fix the mind on each individual limb of the Lord. ।। 3-28-20 ।।

english translation

भगवान् के नित्य रूप में अपना मन स्थिर करते समय योगी को चाहिए कि वह भगवान् के समस्त अंगों पर एक ही साथ विचार न करके, भगवान् के एक-एक अंग पर मन को स्थिर करे। ।। ३-२८-२० ।।

tasmin labdhapadaM cittaM sarvAvayavasaMsthitam | vilakSyaikatra saMyujyAdaGge bhagavato muniH || 3-28-20 ||
