कृत्वा दयां च जीवेषु दत्त्वा चाभयमात्मवान् । मय्यात्मानं सह जगद्द्रक्ष्यस्यात्मनि चापि माम् ॥ ३-२१-३१ ॥
Showing compassion to all living entities, you will attain self-realization. Giving assurance of safety to all, you will perceive your own self as well as all the universes in Me, and Myself in you. ॥ 3-21-31 ॥

समस्त जीवों पर दया करते हुए तुम आत्म-साक्षात्कार प्राप्त कर सकोगे; फिर सबको अभयदान देकर अपने सहित सम्पूर्ण जगत को मुझमें और मुझको अपने में स्थित देखोगे। ॥ ३-२१-३१ ॥

kRtvA dayAM ca jIveSu dattvA cAbhayamAtmavAn । mayyAtmAnaM saha jagaddrakSyasyAtmani cApi mAm ॥ 3-21-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसहाहं स्वांशकलया त्वद्वीर्येण महामुने । तव क्षेत्रे देवहूत्यां प्रणेष्ये तत्त्वसंहिताम् ॥ ३-२१-३२ ॥
O great sage, I shall manifest My own plenary portion through your wife, Devahūti, along with your nine daughters, and I shall instruct her in the system of philosophy that deals with the ultimate principles or categories. ॥ 3-21-32 ॥

हे ऋषि, मैं तुम्हारी नवों कन्याओं सहित तुम्हारी पत्नी देवहूति के माध्यम से अपने स्वांश को प्रकट करूँगा और उसे उस दर्शनशास्त्र (सांख्य दर्शन) का उपदेश दूँगा जो परम तत्त्वों या श्रेणियों से सम्बद्ध है। ॥ ३-२१-३२ ॥

sahAhaM svAMzakalayA tvadvIryeNa mahAmune । tava kSetre devahUtyAM praNeSye tattvasaMhitAm ॥ 3-21-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमैत्रेय उवाच एवं तमनुभाष्याथ भगवान् प्रत्यगक्षजः । जगाम बिन्दुसरसः सरस्वत्या परिश्रितात् ॥ ३-२१-३३ ॥
Maitreya went on: Thus having spoken to Kardama Muni, the Lord, who reveals Himself only when the senses are in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, departed from that lake called Bindu-sarovara, which was encircled by the river Sarasvatī. ॥ 3-21-33 ॥

मैत्रेय ने आगे कहा इस प्रकार कर्दम मुनि से बातें करने के बाद, इन्द्रियों के कृष्ण भावनामृत में लीन रहने पर प्रकट होने वाले भगवान् उस बिन्दु नामक सरोवर से, जो सरस्वती नदी के द्वारा चारों ओर से घिरा हुआ था, अपने लोक को चले गये। ॥ ३-२१-३३ ॥

maitreya uvAca evaM tamanubhASyAtha bhagavAn pratyagakSajaH । jagAma bindusarasaH sarasvatyA parizritAt ॥ 3-21-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिरीक्षतस्तस्य ययावशेषसिद्धेश्वराभिष्टुतसिद्धमार्गः । आकर्णयन् पत्ररथेन्द्रपक्षैरुच्चारितं स्तोममुदीर्णसाम ॥ ३-२१-३४ ॥
While the sage stood looking on, the Lord left by the pathway leading to Vaikuṇṭha, a path extolled by all great liberated souls. The sage stood listening as the hymns forming the basis of the Sāma Veda were vibrated by the flapping wings of the Lord’s carrier, Garuḍa. ॥ 3-21-34 ॥

खड़े हुए कर्दम मुनि के देखते-देखते भगवान्, वैकुण्ठ जानेवाले मार्ग से प्रस्थान कर गये, जिस मार्ग की प्रशंसा सभी महान् मुक्त आत्माएँ करती हैं। मुनि खड़े-खड़े, भगवान् के वाहन गरुड़ के फडफ़ड़ाते पंखों से गुंजादित, सामवेद के मंगलाचरण जैसे लगने वाली ध्वनि को सुनते रह गये। ॥ 3-21-34 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ सम्प्रस्थिते शुक्ले कर्दमो भगवान् ऋषिः । आस्ते स्म बिन्दुसरसि तं कालं प्रतिपालयन् ॥ ३-२१-३५ ॥
Then, after the departure of the Lord, the worshipful sage Kardama stayed on the bank of Bindu-sarovara, awaiting the time of which the Lord had spoken. ॥ 3-21-35 ॥
english translation
तब भगवान् के चले जाने पर पूज्य साधु कर्दम भगवान् द्वारा बताये उस समय की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए बिन्दु सरोवर के तट पर ही ठहरे रहे। ॥ ३-२१-३५ ॥
