स्वयं त्वसाम्यातिशयस्त्र्यधीशः स्वाराज्यलक्ष्म्याऽऽप्तसमस्तकामः । बलिं हरद्भिश्चिरलोकपालैः किरीटकोट्येडितपादपीठः ।। ३-२-२१ ।।

sanskrit

Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the Lord of all kinds of threes and is independently supreme by achievement of all kinds of fortune. He is worshiped by the eternal maintainers of the creation, who offer Him the paraphernalia of worship by touching their millions of helmets to His feet. ।। 3-2-21 ।।

english translation

भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण समस्त त्रयियों के स्वामी हैं और समस्त प्रकार के सौभाग्य की उपलब्धि के द्वारा स्वतंत्र रूप से सर्वोच्च हैं। वे सृष्टि के नित्य लोकपालों द्वारा पूजित हैं, जो अपने करोड़ों मुकुटों द्वारा उनके पाँवों का स्पर्श करके उन्हें पूजा की साज-सामग्री अर्पित करते हैं। ।। ३-२-२१ ।।

तत्तस्य कैङ्कर्यमलं भृतान्नो विग्लापयत्यङ्ग यदुग्रसेनम् । तिष्ठन्निषण्णं परमेष्ठिधिष्ण्ये न्यबोधयद्देव निधारयेति ।। ३-२-२२ ।।

sanskrit

Therefore, O Vidura, does it not pain us, His servitors, when we remember that He [Lord Kṛṣṇa] used to stand before King Ugrasena, who was sitting on the royal throne, and used to submit explanations before him, saying, “O My lord, please let it be known to you”?।। 3-2-22 ।।

english translation

अतएव हे विदुर, क्या उनके सेवकगण हम लोगों को पीड़ा नहीं पहुँचती जब हम स्मरण करते हैं कि वे (भगवान् कृष्ण) राजसिंहासन पर आसीन राजा उग्रसेन के समक्ष खड़े होकर, “हे प्रभु, आपको विदित हो कि” यह कहते हुए सारे स्पष्टीकरण प्रस्तुत करते थे। ।। ३-२-२२ ।।

अहो बकी यं स्तनकालकूटं जिघांसयापाययदप्यसाध्वी । लेभे गतिं धात्र्युचितां ततोऽन्यं कं वा दयालुं शरणं व्रजेम ।। ३-२-२३ ।।

Alas, how shall I take shelter of one more merciful than He who granted the position of mother to a she-demon [Pūtanā] although she was unfaithful and she prepared deadly poison to be sucked from her breast? ।। 3-2-23 ।।

english translation

ओह, भला मैं उनसे अधिक दयालु किसी और की शरण कैसे ग्रहण करूँगा जिन्होंने उस असुरिनी (पूतना) को माता का पद प्रदान किया, यद्यपि वह कृतघ्न थी और उसने अपने स्तन से पिलाए जाने के लिए घातक विष तैयार किया था? ।। ३-२-२३ ।।

मन्येऽसुरान्भागवतांस्त्र्यधीशे संरम्भमार्गाभिनिविष्टचित्तान् । ये संयुगेऽचक्षत तार्क्ष्यपुत्रमंसे सुनाभायुधमापतन्तम् ।। ३-२-२४ ।।

I consider the demons, who are inimical toward the Lord, to be more than the devotees because while fighting with the Lord, absorbed in thoughts of enmity, they are able to see the Lord carried on the shoulder of Garuḍa, the son of Tārkṣya [Kaśyapa], and carrying the wheel weapon in His hand. ।। 3-2-24 ।।

english translation

मैं उन असुरों को जो भगवान् के प्रति शत्रुभाव रखते हैं, भक्तों से बढक़र मानता हूँ, क्योंकि शत्रुता के भावों से भरे वे सभी युद्ध करते हुए भगवान् को तार्क्ष्य (कश्यप) पुत्र गरुड़ के कन्धों पर बैठे तथा अपने हाथ में चक्रायुध लिए देख सकते हैं। ।। ३-२-२४ ।।

वसुदेवस्य देवक्यां जातो भोजेन्द्रबन्धने । चिकीर्षुर्भगवानस्याः शमजेनाभियाचितः ।। ३-२-२५ ।।

sanskrit

The Personality of Godhead, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, being prayed to by Brahmā to bring welfare to the earth, was begotten by Vasudeva in the womb of his wife Devakī in the prison of the King of Bhoja. ।। 3-2-25 ।।

english translation

पृथ्वी पर कल्याण लाने के लिए ब्रह्मा द्वारा याचना किये जाने पर भगवान् श्री कृष्ण को भोज के राजा के बन्दीगृह में वसुदेव ने अपनी पत्नी देवकी के गर्भ से उत्पन्न किया। ।। ३-२-२५ ।।
