Srimad Bhagavatam
श्रुत्वा द्विजैः कथ्यमानं कुरुपाण्डवसंयुगे । सर्वराजन्यनिधनं भारं मेने हृतं भुवः ॥ १०-७९-२२ ॥
The Lord heard from some brāhmaṇas how all the kings involved in the battle between the Kurus and Pāṇḍavas had been killed. From this He concluded that the earth was now relieved of her burden. ॥ 10-79-22 ॥
english translation
भगवान ने कुछ ब्राह्मणों से सुना कि कौरवों और पांडवों के बीच युद्ध में शामिल सभी राजा कैसे मारे गए थे। इससे उन्होंने यह निष्कर्ष निकाला कि पृथ्वी अब अपने बोझ से मुक्त हो गई है। ॥ १०-७९-२२ ॥
