उपस्पृश्य महेन्द्राद्रौ रामं दृष्ट्वाभिवाद्य च । सप्तगोदावरीं वेणां पम्पां भीमरथीं ततः ॥ १०-७९-१२ ॥
At Mount Mahendra He saw Lord Paraśurāma and offered Him prayers, and then He bathed in the seven branches of the Godāvarī River, and also in the rivers Veṇā, Pampā and Bhīmarathī. ॥ 10-79-12 ॥

महेंद्र पर्वत पर उन्होंने भगवान परशुराम के दर्शन किए और उनकी प्रार्थना की, और फिर उन्होंने गोदावरी नदी की सात शाखाओं और वेणा, पम्पा और भीमरथी नदियों में भी स्नान किया। ॥ १०-७९-१२ ॥
