शब्दः कोलाहलोऽप्यासीच्छिशुपाले हते महान् । तस्यानुयायिनो भूपा दुद्रुवुर्जीवितैषिणः ।। १०-७४-४४ ।।

sanskrit

When Śiśupāla was thus killed, a great roar and howl went up from the crowd. Taking advantage of that disturbance, the few kings who were supporters of Śiśupāla quickly left the assembly out of fear for their lives. ।। 10-74-44 ।।

english translation

जब शिशुपाल इस प्रकार मारा गया, तो भीड़ से बड़ी गर्जना और चीख-पुकार मच गई। उस अशांति का लाभ उठाते हुए, कुछ राजा जो शिशुपाल के समर्थक थे, अपने जीवन के डर से तुरंत सभा छोड़कर चले गए। ।। १०-७४-४४ ।।
