Srimad Bhagavatam
वसित्वा वाससी नीले मालामामुच्य काञ्चनीम् । रेजे स्वलङ्कृतो लिप्तो माहेन्द्र इव वारणः ॥ १०-६५-३० ॥
Lord Balarāma dressed Himself in the blue garments and put on the gold necklace. Anointed with fragrances and beautifully adorned, He appeared as resplendent as Indra’s royal elephant. ॥ 10-65-30 ॥
english translation
भगवान बलराम ने नीले वस्त्र पहने और सोने का हार पहना। सुगंधों से अभिषिक्त और सुंदर रूप से सुसज्जित, वह इंद्र के शाही हाथी के समान देदीप्यमान दिखाई दे रहे थे। ॥ १०-६५-३० ॥
