किं पुनः श्रद्धया भक्त्या कृष्णाय परमात्मने । यच्छन् प्रियतमं किं नु रक्तास्तन्मातरो यथा ॥ १०-६-३६ ॥
What then is to be said of those who had natural devotion and affection for Kṛṣṇa as mothers and who offered Him their breasts to suck or offered something very dear, as a mother offers something to a child? ॥ 10-6-36 ॥

तो भला उनके विषय में क्या कहा जाय जिनमें माताओं के रूप में कृष्ण के लिए सहज भक्ति तथा स्नेह था और जिन्होंने अपना स्तनपान कराया या कोई अत्यन्त प्रिय वस्तु भेंट की थी जैसा कि माताएँ करती रहती हैं। ॥ १०-६-३६ ॥

पद्भ्यां भक्तहृदिस्थाभ्यां वन्द्याभ्यां लोकवन्दितैः । अङ्गं यस्याः समाक्रम्य भगवानपिबत्स्तनम् ॥ १०-६-३७ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, is always situated within the core of the heart of the pure devotee, and He is always offered prayers by such worshipable personalities as Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva. Because Kṛṣṇa embraced Pūtanā’s body with great pleasure and sucked her breast, although she was a great witch, ॥ 10-6-37 ॥

भगवान् कृष्ण शुद्ध भक्तों के हृदय में सदैव स्थित रहते हैं और ब्रह्माजी तथा भगवान् शिवजी जैसे पूज्य पुरूषों द्वारा सदैव वन्दनीय हैं। चूँकि कृष्ण ने पूतना के शरीर का आलिंगन अत्यन्त प्रेमपूर्वक किया था और भूतनी होते हुए भी उन्होंने उसका स्तनपान किया था ॥ १०-६-३७ ॥

यातुधान्यपि सा स्वर्गमवाप जननीगतिम् । कृष्णभुक्तस्तनक्षीराः किमु गावो नु मातरः ॥ १०-६-३८ ॥
She attained the position of a mother in the transcendental world and thus achieved the highest perfection. What then is to be said of the cows whose nipples Kṛṣṇa sucked with great pleasure and who offered their milk very jubilantly with affection exactly like that of a mother? ॥ 10-6-38 ॥

इसलिए उसे दिव्य लोक में माता की गति और सर्वोच्च सिद्धि मिली। तो भला उन गौवों के विषय में क्या कहा जाय जिनका स्तनपान कृष्ण बड़े ही आनन्द से करते थे और जो बड़े ही प्यार से माता के ही समान कृष्ण को अपना दूध देती थीं? ॥ १०-६-३८ ॥

पयांसि यासामपिबत्पुत्रस्नेहस्नुतान्यलम् । भगवान् देवकीपुत्रः कैवल्याद्यखिलप्रदः ॥ १०-६-३९ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, is the bestower of many benedictions, including liberation [kaivalya], or oneness with the Brahman effulgence. For that Personality of Godhead, the gopīs always felt maternal love, and Kṛṣṇa sucked their breasts with full satisfaction. ॥ 10-6-39 ॥

भगवान् कृष्ण अनेक वरों के प्रदाता हैं जिनमें कैवल्य अर्थात् ब्रह्म तेज में तादात्म्य भी सम्मिलित है। उन भगवान् के लिए गोपियों ने सदैव मातृ-प्रेम का अनुभव किया और कृष्ण ने पूर्ण संतोष के साथ उनका स्तन-पान किया। ॥ १०-६-३९ ॥

तासामविरतं कृष्णे कुर्वतीनां सुतेक्षणम् । न पुनः कल्पते राजन् संसारोऽज्ञानसम्भवः ॥ १०-६-४० ॥
Therefore, because of their relationship as mother and son, although the gopīs were engaged in various family activities, one should never think that they returned to this material world after leaving their bodies. ॥ 10-6-40 ॥

अतएव अपने माता-पुत्र के सम्बन्ध के कारण विविध पारिवारिक कार्यों में संलग्न रहने पर भी किसी को यह नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि अपना शरीर त्यागने पर वे इस भौतिक जगत में लौट आईं। ॥ १०-६-४० ॥
