गोप्यः संस्पृष्टसलिला अङ्गेषु करयोः पृथक् । न्यस्यात्मन्यथ बालस्य बीजन्यासमकुर्वत ।। १०-६-२१ ।।

sanskrit

The gopīs first executed the process of ācamana, drinking a sip of water from the right hand. They purified their bodies and hands with the nyāsa-mantra and then applied the same mantra upon the body of the child. ।। 10-6-21 ।।

english translation

गोपियों ने सर्वप्रथम अपने दाहिने हाथ से जल का एक घूँट पी कर आचमन किया। उन्होंने अपने शरीरों तथा हाथों को न्यास-मंत्र से शुद्ध बनाया और तब उन्होंने बालक के शरीर को भी उसी मंत्र से परिशुद्ध किया। ।। १०-६-२१ ।।
