दृश्यते यत्र हि त्वाष्ट्रं विज्ञानं शिल्पनैपुणम् । रथ्याचत्वरवीथीभिर्यथावास्तु विनिर्मितम् ॥ १०-५०-५१ ॥
In the construction of that city could be seen the full scientific knowledge and architectural skill of Viśvakarmā. There were wide avenues, commercial roads and courtyards laid out on ample plots of land; ॥ 10-50-51 ॥

श्लोक 50-53: उस नगर के निर्माण में विश्वकर्मा के पूर्ण विज्ञान तथा शिल्पकला को देखा जा सकता था। उसमें चौेड़े मार्ग, व्यावसायिक सडक़ें तथा चौराहे थे, जो विस्तृत भू-खण्ड में बनाये गये थे। ॥ १०-५०-५१ ॥

सुरद्रुमलतोद्यानविचित्रोपवनान्वितम् । हेमशृङ्गैर्दिविस्पृग्भिः स्फटिकाट्टालगोपुरैः ॥ १०-५०-५२ ॥
There were splendid parks, and also gardens stocked with trees and creepers from the heavenly planets. The gateway towers were topped with golden turrets touching the sky, ॥ 10-50-52 ॥

उसमें भव्य पार्क थे और स्वर्ग-लोक से लाये गये वृक्षों तथा लताओं से युक्त बगीचे भी थे। उसके गोपुर के मीनारों के ऊपर सोने के बुर्ज थे, जो आकाश को चूम रहे थे। ॥ १०-५०-५२ ॥

राजतारकुटैः कोष्ठैर्हेमकुम्भैरलङ्कृतैः । रत्नकूटैर्गृहैर्हैमैर्महामारकतस्थलैः ॥ १०-५०-५३ ॥
and their upper levels were fashioned of crystal quartz. The gold-covered houses were adorned in front with golden pots and on top with jeweled roofs, and their floors were inlaid with precious emeralds. ॥ 10-50-53 ॥

उनकी अटारियाँ स्फटिक मणियों से बनी थीं। सोने से आच्छादित घरों के सामने का भाग सुनहरे घड़ों से सजाया गया था और उनकी छतें रत्नजटित थीं तथा फर्श में बहुमूल्य मरकत मणि जड़े थे। ॥ १०-५०-५३ ॥

वास्तोष्पतीनां च गृहैर्वलभीभिश्च निर्मितम् । चातुर्वर्ण्यजनाकीर्णं यदुदेवगृहोल्लसत् ॥ १०-५०-५४ ॥
Beside the houses stood treasury buildings, warehouses, and stables for fine horses, all built of silver and brass. Each residence had a watchtower, and also a temple for its household deity. Filled with citizens of all four social orders, the city was especially beautified by the palaces of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Lord of the Yadus. ॥ 10-50-54 ॥

घरों के पास ही कोषागार, भंडार तथा आकर्षक घोड़ों के अस्तबल थे, जो चाँदी तथा पीतल के बने हुए थे। प्रत्येक आवास में एक चौकसी बुर्जी थी और घरेलू अर्चाविग्रह के लिए मन्दिर था। यह नगर चारों वर्णों के लोगों से पूरित था और यदुओं के स्वामी श्रीकृष्ण के महलों के कारण विशेष रूप से अलंकृत था। ॥ १०-५०-५४ ॥

सुधर्मां पारिजातं च महेन्द्रः प्राहिणोद्धरेः । यत्र चावस्थितो मर्त्यो मर्त्यधर्मैर्न युज्यते ॥ १०-५०-५५ ॥
Lord Indra brought Śrī Kṛṣṇa the Sudharmā assembly hall, standing within which a mortal man is not subject to the laws of mortality. Indra also gave the pārijāta tree. ॥ 10-50-55 ॥

इन्द्र ने श्रीकृष्ण के लिए सुधर्मा सभागार ला दिया जिसके भीतर खड़ा मनुष्य मृत्यु के नियमों से प्रभावित नहीं होता। इन्द्र ने पारिजात वृक्ष भी लाकर दिया। ॥ १०-५०-५५ ॥
