यथावदुपसङ्गम्य बन्धुभिर्गान्दिनीसुतः । सम्पृष्टस्तैः सुहृद्वार्तां स्वयं चापृच्छदव्ययम् ।। १०-४९-३ ।।

sanskrit

After Akrūra, the son of Gāndinī, had appropriately greeted all his relatives and friends, they asked him for news of their family members, and he in turn asked about their welfare. ।। 10-49-3 ।।

english translation

जब गान्दिनी-पुत्र अक्रूर अपने समस्त सम्बन्धियों तथा मित्रों से भलीभाँति मिल चुके तो उन लोगों ने अपने परिवार वालों के समाचार पूछे और प्रत्युत्तर में अक्रूर ने उनकी कुशलता पूछी। ।। १०-४९-३ ।।
