आहूय कान्तां नवसङ्गमह्रिया विशङ्कितां कङ्कणभूषिते करे । प्रगृह्य शय्यामधिवेश्य रामया रेमेऽनुलेपार्पणपुण्यलेशया ॥ १०-४८-६ ॥
Calling forward His beloved, who was anxious and shy at the prospect of this new contact, the Lord pulled her by her bangled hands onto the bed. Thus He enjoyed with that beautiful girl, whose only trace of piety was her having offered ointment to the Lord. ॥ 10-48-6 ॥

इस नवीन सम्पर्क (मिलन) की प्रत्याशा से सशंकित तथा लजीली प्रेमिका को आगे आने के लिए बुलाते हुए भगवान् ने कंगन से सुशोभित उसके हाथों को पकडक़र अपनी सेज पर खींच लिया। इस तरह उन्होंने उस सुन्दरी के साथ रमण किया जिसकी एकमात्र पवित्रता इतनी ही थी कि उसने पहले किसी समय भगवान् को लेप अर्पित किया था। ॥ १०-४८-६ ॥
