Srimad Bhagavatam
दिष्ट्या ते निहतो दैत्यो लीलयायं हयाकृतिः । यस्य हेषितसन्त्रस्तास्त्यजन्त्यनिमिषा दिवम् ॥ १०-३७-१५ ॥
The horse demon was so terrifying that his neighing frightened the demigods into leaving their heavenly kingdom. But by our good fortune You have enjoyed the sport of killing him. ॥ 10-37-15 ॥
english translation
यह घोड़े की आकृति वाला असुर इतना आतंक मचाये हुए था कि उसकी हिनहिनाहट से देवताओं ने भयभीत होकर अपने स्वर्ग के राज्य को छोड़ दिया था। किन्तु हमारे सौभाग्य से आपने खेल खेल में ही उसे मार डाला है। ॥ १०-३७-१५ ॥
