नन्दव्रजं शौरिरुपेत्य तत्र तान् गोपान् प्रसुप्तानुपलभ्य निद्रया । सुतं यशोदाशयने निधाय तत् सुतामुपादाय पुनर्गृहानगात् ।। १०-३-५१ ।।

sanskrit

When Vasudeva reached the house of Nanda Mahārāja, he saw that all the cowherd men were fast asleep. Thus he placed his own son on the bed of Yaśodā, picked up her daughter, an expansion of Yoga-māyā, and then returned to his residence, the prison house of Kaṁsa. ।। 10-3-51 ।।

english translation

जब वसुदेव नन्द महाराज के घर पहुँचे तो देखा कि सारे ग्वाले गहरी नींद में सोए हुए थे। उन्होंने अपने पुत्र को यशोदा के पलँग में रख दिया, उसकी पुत्री को, जो योगमाया की अंश थी, उठाया और अपने घर कंस के बंदीगृह वापस लौट आए। ।। १०-३-५१ ।।
