तं प्रेमवेगान्निभृता व्रजौकसो यथा समीयुः परिरम्भणादिभिः । गोप्यश्च सस्नेहमपूजयन्मुदा दध्यक्षताद्भिर्युयुजुः सदाशिषः ॥ १०-२५-२९ ॥
All the residents of Vṛndāvana were overwhelmed with ecstatic love, and they came forward and greeted Śrī Kṛṣṇa according to their individual relationships with Him — some embracing Him, others bowing down to Him, and so forth. The cowherd women presented water mixed with yogurt and unbroken barleycorns as a token of honor, and they showered auspicious benedictions upon Him. ॥ 10-25-29 ॥

वृन्दावन के सारे निवासी प्रेम से अभिभूत थे। उन्होंने आगे बढक़र अपने अपने रिश्ते के अनुसार श्रीकृष्ण को बधाई दी—किसी ने उनको गले लगाया, तो कोई उनके समक्ष नतमस्तक हुआ इत्यादि-इत्यादि। गोपियों ने सम्मान के प्रतीकस्वरूप उन्हें दही तथा अक्षत, जौ मिलाया हुआ जल अर्पित किया। उन्होंने कृष्ण पर आशीर्वादों की झड़ी लगा दी। ॥ १०-२५-२९ ॥
