अहो पश्यत नारीणामपि कृष्णे जगद्गुरौ । दुरन्तभावं योऽविध्यन् मृत्युपाशान् गृहाभिधान् ॥ १०-२३-४१ ॥
Just see the unlimited love these women have developed for Lord Kṛṣṇa, the spiritual master of the entire universe! This love has broken for them the very bonds of death — their attachment to family life. ॥ 10-23-41 ॥
english translation
जरा इन स्त्रियों के असीम प्रेम को तो देखो जो इन्होंने अखिल विश्व के आध्यात्मिक गुरु भगवान् के प्रति उत्पन्न कर रखा है। इस प्रेम ने गृहस्थ जीवन के प्रति उनकी आसक्ति—मृत्यु के बन्धन—को छिन्न कर दिया है। ॥ १०-२३-४१ ॥
