पश्यतैतान् महाभागान् परार्थैकान्तजीवितान् । वातवर्षातपहिमान् सहन्तो वारयन्ति नः ॥ १०-२२-३२ ॥
Just see these greatly fortunate trees, whose lives are completely dedicated to the benefit of others. Even while tolerating the wind, rain, heat and snow, they protect us from these elements. ॥ 10-22-32 ॥
english translation
जरा इन भाग्यशाली वृक्षों को तो देखो जिनके जीवन ही अन्यों के लाभ हेतु समर्पित हैं। वे हवा, वर्षा, धूप तथा पाले को सहते हुए भी इन तत्त्वों से हमारी रक्षा करते हैं। ॥ १०-२२-३२ ॥
