हन्तायमद्रिरबला हरिदासवर्यो यद्रामकृष्णचरणस्पर्शप्रमोदः । मानं तनोति सह गोगणयोस्तयोर्यत् पानीयसूयवसकन्दरकन्दमूलैः ।। १०-२१-१८ ।।

sanskrit

Of all the devotees, this Govardhana Hill is the best! O my friends, this hill supplies Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, along with Their calves, cows and cowherd friends, with all kinds of necessities — water for drinking, very soft grass, caves, fruits, flowers and vegetables. In this way the hill offers respects to the Lord. Being touched by the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, Govardhana Hill appears very jubilant. ।। 10-21-18 ।।

english translation

यह गोवर्धन पर्वत समस्त भक्तों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। सखियो, यह पर्वत कृष्ण तथा बलराम के साथ ही साथ उनकी गौवों, बछड़ों तथा ग्वालबालों की सभी प्रकार की आवश्यकताओं—पीने का पानी, अति मुलायम घास, गुफाएँ, फल, फूल तथा तरकारियों—की पूर्ति करता है। इस तरह यह पर्वत भगवान् का आदर करता है। कृष्ण तथा बलराम के चरणकमलों का स्पर्श पाकर गोवर्धन पर्वत अत्यन्त हर्षित प्रतीत होता है। ।। १०-२१-१८ ।।
