Srimad Bhagavatam
स तं गृहीत्वा प्रपदोर्भ्रामयित्वैकपाणिना । चिक्षेप तृणराजाग्रे भ्रामणत्यक्तजीवितम् ॥ १०-१५-३२ ॥
Lord Balarāma seized Dhenuka by his hooves, whirled him about with one hand and threw him into the top of a palm tree. The violent wheeling motion killed the demon. ॥ 10-15-32 ॥

बलराम ने धेनुक के खुर पकड़े, उसे एक हाथ से घुमाया और ताड़वृक्ष की चोटी पर फेंक दिया। इस तरह तेजी से घुमाने के कारण वह असुर मर गया। ॥ १०-१५-३२ ॥
