कृष्णमेनमवेहि त्वमात्मानमखिलात्मनाम् । जगद्धिताय सोऽप्यत्र देहीवाभाति मायया ।। १०-१४-५५ ।।

sanskrit

You should know Kṛṣṇa to be the original Soul of all living entities. For the benefit of the whole universe, He has, out of His causeless mercy, appeared as an ordinary human being. He has done this by the strength of His internal potency. ।। 10-14-55 ।।

english translation

तुम कृष्ण को समस्त जीवों की आदि आत्मा करके जानो। वे अपनी अहैतुकी कृपावश, समस्त जगत के लाभ हेतु, सामान्य मानव के रूप में प्रकट हुए हैं। ऐसा उन्होंने अपनी अन्तरंगा शक्ति के बल पर किया है। ।। १०-१४-५५ ।।
