जगत्त्रयान्तोदधिसम्प्लवोदे नारायणस्योदरनाभिनालात् । विनिर्गतोऽजस्त्विति वाङ्न वै मृषा किन्त्वीश्वर त्वन्न विनिर्गतोऽस्मि ।। १०-१४-१३ ।।

My dear Lord, it is said that when the three planetary systems are merged into the water at the time of dissolution, Your plenary portion, Nārāyaṇa, lies down on the water, gradually a lotus flower grows from His navel, and Brahmā takes birth upon that lotus flower. Certainly, these words are not false. Thus am I not born from You? ।। 10-14-13 ।।

english translation

हे प्रभु, ऐसा कहा जाता है कि जब प्रलय के समय तीनों लोक जलमग्न हो जाते हैं, तो आपके अंश, नारायण, जल में लेट जाते हैं, उनकी नाभि से धीरे-धीरे एक कमल का फूल निकलता है और उस फूल से ब्रह्मा का जन्म होता है। अवश्य ही ये वचन झूठे नहीं हैं। तो क्या मैं आपसे उत्पन्न नहीं हूँ? ।। १०-१४-१३ ।।
