एवं व्रजौकसां प्रीतिं यच्छन्तौ बालचेष्टितैः । कलवाक्यैः स्वकालेन वत्सपालौ बभूवतुः ।। १०-११-३७ ।।

sanskrit

In this way, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, acting like small boys and talking in half-broken language, gave transcendental pleasure to all the inhabitants of Vraja. In due course of time, They became old enough to take care of the calves. ।। 10-11-37 ।।

english translation

इस तरह कृष्ण और बलराम छोटे बालकों की तरह क्रीड़ाएँ करते तथा तोतली बोली बोलते हुए व्रज के सारे निवासियों को दिव्य आनन्द देने लगे। समय आने पर वे बछड़ों की देखभाल करने के योग्य हो गये। ।। १०-११-३७ ।।
