उग्रसेनं च पितरं यदुभोजान्धकाधिपम् । स्वयं निगृह्य बुभुजे शूरसेनान्महाबलः ॥ १०-१-६९ ॥
Kaṁsa, the most powerful son of Ugrasena, even imprisoned his own father, the King of the Yadu, Bhoja and Andhaka dynasties, and personally ruled the states known as Śūrasena. ॥ 10-1-69 ॥

उग्रसेन के अत्यन्त बलशाली पुत्र कंस ने अपने पिता तक को, जो यदु, भोज तथा अंधक वंशों का राजा था, बन्दी बना लिया और शूरसेन नामक राज्यों का शासन स्वयं चलाने लगा। ॥ १०-१-६९ ॥
