कर्माकृतौ दोषमपि श्रुतिर्जगौ तस्मात्सदा कार्यमिदं मुमुक्षुणा । ननु स्वतन्त्रा ध्रुवकार्यकारिणी विद्य न किञ्चिन्मनसाप्यपेक्षते ॥ १२॥

The scriptures have even cautioned that by not doing karma one will incur sin; therefore, the seeker of liberation should always perform his prescribed Karma. karmAkRtau doSamapi zrutirjagau tasmAtsadA kAryamidaM mumukSuNA | nanu svatantrA dhruvakAryakAriNI vidya na kiJcinmanasApyapekSate || 12||
