    धर्मस्य मम तुभ्यं च कुमाराणां भवस्य च । विज्ञानस्य च सत्त्वस्य परस्यात्मा परायणम् ।। २-६-१२ ।।dharmasya mama tubhyaM ca kumArANAM bhavasya ca | vijJAnasya ca sattvasya parasyAtmA parAyaNam || 2-6-12 ||Also, the consciousness of that great personality is the abode of religious principles — mine, yours, and those of the four bachelors Sanaka, Sanātana, Sanat-kumāra and Sanandana. That consciousness is also the abode of truth and transcendental knowledge. ।। 2-6-12 ।।

From His veins flow the great rivers and rivulets, and on His bones are stacked the great mountains. ।। 2-6-10 ।।

    अपां वीर्यस्य सर्गस्य पर्जन्यस्य प्रजापतेः । पुंसः शिश्न उपस्थस्तु प्रजात्यानन्दनिर्वृतेः ।। २-६-८ ।।apAM vIryasya sargasya parjanyasya prajApateH | puMsaH zizna upasthastu prajAtyAnandanirvRteH || 2-6-8 ||From the Lord’s genitals originate water, semen, generatives, rains and the procreators. His genitals are the cause of a pleasure that counteracts the distress of begetting. ।। 2-6-8 ।।

    रोमाण्युद्भिज्जजातीनां यैर्वा यज्ञस्तु सम्भृतः केशश्मश्रुनखान्यस्य शिलालोहाभ्रविद्युताम् ।। २-६-५ ।। romANyudbhijjajAtInAM yairvA yajJastu sambhRtaH kezazmazrunakhAnyasya zilAlohAbhravidyutAm || 2-6-5 ||The hairs on His body are the cause of all vegetation, particularly of those trees which are required as ingredients for sacrifice. The hairs on His head and face are reservoirs for the clouds, and His nails are the breeding ground of electricity, stones and iron ores. ।। 2-6-5 ।।

    तद्गात्रं वस्तुसाराणां सौभगस्य च भाजनम् त्वगस्य स्पर्शवायोश्च सर्वमेधस्य चैव हि ।।। २-६-४ ।।tadgAtraM vastusArANAM saubhagasya ca bhAjanam tvagasya sparzavAyozca sarvamedhasya caiva hi ||| 2-6-4 ||His bodily surface is the breeding ground for the active principles of everything and for all kinds of auspicious opportunities. His skin, like the moving air, is the generating center for all kinds of sense of touch and is the place for performing all kinds of sacrifice. ।। 2-6-4 ।।

    विशेषस्तु विकुर्वाणादम्भसो गन्धवानभूत् । परान्वयाद्रसस्पर्शशब्दरूपगुणान्वितः ।। २-५-२९ ।।vizeSastu vikurvANAdambhaso gandhavAnabhUt | parAnvayAdrasasparzazabdarUpaguNAnvitaH || 2-5-29 ||And water, being transformed from all variegatedness on earth, appears odorous and, as previously, becomes qualitatively full of juice, touch, sound and form respectively. ।। 2-5-29 ।।

    भूर्लोकः कल्पितः पद्भ्यां भुवर्लोकोऽस्य नाभितः । स्वर्लोकः कल्पितो मूर्ध्ना इति वा लोककल्पना ।। २-५-४२ ।।bhUrlokaH kalpitaH padbhyAM bhuvarloko'sya nAbhitaH | svarlokaH kalpito mUrdhnA iti vA lokakalpanA || 2-5-42 ||Others may divide the whole planetary system into three divisions, namely the lower planetary systems on the legs [up to the earth], the middle planetary systems on the navel, and the upper planetary systems [Svarloka] from the chest to the head of the Supreme Personality. ।। 2-5-42 ।।

    वैकारिकान्मनो जज्ञे देवा वैकारिका दश । दिग्वातार्कप्रचेतोऽश्विवह्नीन्द्रोपेन्द्रमित्रकाः ।। २-५-३० ।। vaikArikAnmano jajJe devA vaikArikA daza | digvAtArkapraceto'zvivahnIndropendramitrakAH || 2-5-30 ||From the mode of goodness the mind is generated and becomes manifest, as also the ten demigods controlling the bodily movements. Such demigods are known as the controller of directions, the controller of air, the sun-god, the father of Dakṣa Prajāpati, the Aśvinī-kumāras, the fire-god, the King of heaven, the worshipable deity in heaven, the chief of the Ādityas, and Brahmājī, the Prajāpati. All come into existence. ।। 2-5-30 ।।

    नारायणपरा वेदा देवा नारायणाङ्गजाः । नारायणपरा लोका नारायणपरा मखाः ।। २-५-१५ ।।nArAyaNaparA vedA devA nArAyaNAGgajAH | nArAyaNaparA lokA nArAyaNaparA makhAH || 2-5-15 ||The Vedic literatures are made by and are meant for the Supreme Lord, the demigods are also meant for serving the Lord as parts of His body, the different planets are also meant for the sake of the Lord, and different sacrifices are performed just to please Him. ।। 2-5-15 ।।

    आत्मन् भावयसे तानि न पराभावयन् स्वयम् । आत्मशक्तिमवष्टभ्य ऊर्णनाभिरिवाक्लमः ।। २-५-५ ।।Atman bhAvayase tAni na parAbhAvayan svayam | AtmazaktimavaSTabhya UrNanAbhirivAklamaH || 2-5-5 ||As the spider very easily creates the network of its cobweb and manifests its power of creation without being defeated by others, so also you yourself, by employment of your self-sufficient energy, create without any other’s help. ।। 2-5-5 ।।
