    यस्मादण्डं विराड्जज्ञे भूतेन्द्रियगुणात्मकः । तद्द्रव्यमत्यगाद्विश्वं गोभिः सूर्य इवातपन् ।। २-६-२२ ।।yasmAdaNDaM virADjajJe bhUtendriyaguNAtmakaH | taddravyamatyagAdvizvaM gobhiH sUrya ivAtapan || 2-6-22 ||From that Personality of Godhead, all the universal globes and the universal form with all material elements, qualities and senses are generated. Yet He is aloof from such material manifestations, like the sun, which is separate from its rays and heat. ।। 2-6-22 ।।

    पादास्त्रयो बहिश्चासन्नप्रजानां य आश्रमाः । अन्तस्त्रिलोक्यास्त्वपरो गृहमेधोऽबृहद्व्रतः ।। २-६-२० ।।pAdAstrayo bahizcAsannaprajAnAM ya AzramAH | antastrilokyAstvaparo gRhamedho'bRhadvrataH || 2-6-20 ||The spiritual world, which consists of three fourths of the Lord’s energy, is situated beyond this material world, and it is especially meant for those who will never be reborn. Others, who are attached to family life and who do not strictly follow celibacy vows, must live within the three material worlds. ।। 2-6-20 ।।

Deathlessness, fearlessness and freedom from the anxieties of old age and disease exist in the kingdom of God, which is beyond the three higher planetary systems and beyond the material coverings. ।। 2-6-19 ।।

    सर्वं पुरुष एवेदं भूतं भव्यं भवच्च यत् । तेनेदमावृतं विश्वं वितस्तिमधितिष्ठति ।। २-६-१६ ।।sarvaM puruSa evedaM bhUtaM bhavyaM bhavacca yat | tenedamAvRtaM vizvaM vitastimadhitiSThati || 2-6-16 ||everything that be, are all covered by the universal form of the Lord at all times, namely past, present and future, although He is transcendental to all of them, eternally existing in a form not exceeding nine inches. ।। 2-6-16 ।।

    अन्ये च विविधा जीवा जलस्थलनभौकसः । ग्रहर्क्षकेतवस्तारास्तडितः स्तनयित्नवः ।। २-६-१५ ।।anye ca vividhA jIvA jalasthalanabhaukasaH | graharkSaketavastArAstaDitaH stanayitnavaH || 2-6-15 ||and all phenomenal manifestations of the universes, namely the planets, stars, asteroids, luminaries, lightning, thunder, and the inhabitants of the different planetary systems, ।। 2-6-15 ।।

    अहं भवान् भवश्चैव त इमे मुनयोऽग्रजा: । सुरासुरनरा नागा: खगा मृगसरीसृपा: ।। २-६-१३ ।। ahaM bhavAn bhavazcaiva ta ime munayo'grajA: | surAsuranarA nAgA: khagA mRgasarIsRpA: || 2-6-13 || Beginning from me [Brahmā] down to you and Bhava [Śiva], all the great sages who were born before you, the demigods, the demons, the Nāgas, the human beings, the birds, the beasts, as well as the reptiles, etc., ।। 2-6-13 ।।
