अपां वीर्यस्य सर्गस्य पर्जन्यस्य प्रजापतेः । पुंसः शिश्न उपस्थस्तु प्रजात्यानन्दनिर्वृतेः ॥ २-६-८ ॥
From the Lord’s genitals originate water, semen, generatives, rains and the procreators. His genitals are the cause of a pleasure that counteracts the distress of begetting. ॥ 2-6-8 ॥

भगवान् के जननांगों से जल, वीर्य, सृष्टि, वर्षा तथा प्रजापतियों का जन्म होता है। उनके जननांग उस आनन्द के कारण-स्वरूप हैं, जिससे जनन के कष्ट का प्रतिकार किया जा सकता है। ॥ २-६-८ ॥
