The Vedic literatures are made by and are meant for the Supreme Lord, the demigods are also meant for serving the Lord as parts of His body, the different planets are also meant for the sake of the Lord, and different sacrifices are performed just to please Him. ।। 2-5-15 ।।

सारे वैदिक ग्रंथ परमेश्वर से ही बने हैं और उन्हीं के निमित्त हैं। देवता भी भगवान् के शरीर के अंगों के रूप में उन्हीं की सेवा के लिए हैं। विभिन्न लोक भी भगवान् के निमित्त हैं और विभिन्न यज्ञ उन्हीं को प्रसन्न करने के लिए सम्पन्न किये जाते हैं। ।। २-५-१५ ।।
