    अहं गिरित्रश्च सुरादयो ये दक्षादयोऽग्नेरिव केतवस्ते । किं वा विदामेश पृथग्विभाता विधत्स्व शं नो द्विजदेवमन्त्रम् ।‌। ८-६-१५ ॥ahaM giritrazca surAdayo ye dakSAdayo'gneriva ketavaste । kiM vA vidAmeza pRthagvibhAtA vidhatsva zaM no dvijadevamantram ।‌। 8-6-15 ॥I ॥ Lord Brahmā॥, Lord Śiva and all the demigods, accompanied by the prajāpatis like Dakṣa, are nothing but sparks illuminated by You, who are the original fire. Since we are particles of You, what can we understand about our welfare? O Supreme Lord, please give us the means of deliverance that is suitable for the brāhmaṇas and demigods. ।‌। 8-6-15 ॥

Please fulfill the purpose for which we have come. You are the witness of everything, from within and without. Nothing is unknown to You, and therefore it is unnecessary to inform You again of anything. ।‌। 8-6-14 ॥

The lord of monkeys (Sugriva) touched Rama's feet, bending his head down, and raising him up . - ॥ 4-38-18॥

    बलान्महेन्द्रस्त्रिदशाः प्रसादा- न्मन्योर्गिरीशो धिषणाद्विरिञ्चः । खेभ्यश्च छन्दांस्यृषयो मेढ्रतः कः प्रसीदतां नः स महाविभूतिः ॥ ८-५-३९ ॥balAnmahendrastridazAH prasAdA- nmanyorgirIzo dhiSaNAdviriJcaH । khebhyazca chandAMsyRSayo meDhrataH kaH prasIdatAM naH sa mahAvibhUtiH ॥ 8-5-39 ॥Mahendra, the King of Heaven, was generated from the prowess of the Lord, the demigods were generated from the mercy of the Lord, Lord Śiva was generated from the anger of the Lord, and Lord Brahmā from His sober intelligence. The Vedic mantras were generated from the bodily holes of the Lord, and the great saints and prajāpatis were generated from His genitals. May that supremely powerful Lord be pleased with us. ॥ 8-5-39 ॥

    किष्किन्धाया विनिष्क्राम यदि ते सौम्य रोचते । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा लक्ष्मणस्य सुभाषितम् ॥ ४-३८-४kiSkindhAyA viniSkrAma yadi te saumya rocate । tasya tadvacanaM zrutvA lakSmaNasya subhASitam ॥ 4-38-4- 'O goodnatured Sugriva if you would like to come (to Rama) let us depart from Kishkindha. Hearing those gentle words of Lakshmana - ॥ 4-38-4॥

    ते तु सर्वे हरिवराः पृथिव्यां सर्ववानरान् । सञ्चोदयित्वा त्वरिता यूथानां जग्मुरग्रतः ॥ ४-३७-३३te tu sarve harivarAH pRthivyAM sarvavAnarAn । saJcodayitvA tvaritA yUthAnAM jagmuragrataH ॥ 4-37-33On motivating all of the monkeys on earth, all those best monkeys who proceeded to forgather other monkeys, quickly returned to Kishkindha ahead of the forgathered troops of monkeys. ॥ 4-37-33॥

    वनेभ्यो गह्वरेभ्यश्च सरिद्भ्यश्च महाजवा । आगच्छद्वानरी सेना पिबन्तीव दिवाकरम् ॥ ४-३७-२६vanebhyo gahvarebhyazca saridbhyazca mahAjavA । AgacchadvAnarI senA pibantIva divAkaram ॥ 4-37-26An army of swiftmoving monkeys came from the caves, from the banks of rivers and forests as though it was swallowing up the Sun-god. ॥ 4-37-26॥

    ते समुद्रेषु गिरिषु वनेषु च सरस्सु च । वानरा वानरान्सर्वान्रामहेतोरचोदयन् ॥ ४-३७-१८te samudreSu giriSu vaneSu ca sarassu ca । vAnarA vAnarAnsarvAnrAmahetoracodayan ॥ 4-37-18The messenger monkeys drove in all those living on the sea shore, mountains, forests as well as banks of lakes in order to serve the cause of Rama. ॥ 4-37-18॥

    तांस्तां स्त्वमानय क्षिप्रं पृथिव्यां सर्ववानरान् । सामदानादिभि: स्सर्वैराशु प्रेषय वानरान् ॥ ४-३७-९tAMstAM stvamAnaya kSipraM pRthivyAM sarvavAnarAn । sAmadAnAdibhi: ssarvairAzu preSaya vAnarAn ॥ 4-37-9- and those living on the earth, all monkeys must be cajoled and persuaded to report at once. You (Hanuman) send monkeys for them. ॥ 4-37-9॥
