उ॒त योष॑णे दि॒व्ये म॒ही न॑ उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ सु॒दुघे॑व धे॒नुः । ब॒र्हि॒षदा॑ पुरुहू॒ते म॒घोनी॒ आ य॒ज्ञिये॑ सुवि॒ताय॑ श्रयेताम् ॥ उत योषणे दिव्ये मही न उषासानक्ता सुदुघेव धेनुः । बर्हिषदा पुरुहूते मघोनी आ यज्ञिये सुविताय श्रयेताम् ॥
May the two youthful feminine les, the divine and mighty day and night, the invoked of many, the possessedof wealth, seated on the sacred grass, enitled to adoration, be with us like an easily-milked cow for our welfare.

विप्रा॑ य॒ज्ञेषु॒ मानु॑षेषु का॒रू मन्ये॑ वां जा॒तवे॑दसा॒ यज॑ध्यै । ऊ॒र्ध्वं नो॑ अध्व॒रं कृ॑तं॒ हवे॑षु॒ ता दे॒वेषु॑ वनथो॒ वार्या॑णि ॥ विप्रा यज्ञेषु मानुषेषु कारू मन्ये वां जातवेदसा यजध्यै । ऊर्ध्वं नो अध्वरं कृतं हवेषु ता देवेषु वनथो वार्याणि ॥
I am minded to adore you two sages, the ministrants at sacrifices of men, from celebrated, convey ouroffspring aloft, and acquire (for our use) the precious (treasures preserved) among the gods.

आ भार॑ती॒ भार॑तीभिः स॒जोषा॒ इळा॑ दे॒वैर्म॑नु॒ष्ये॑भिर॒ग्निः । सर॑स्वती सारस्व॒तेभि॑र॒र्वाक्ति॒स्रो दे॒वीर्ब॒र्हिरेदं स॑दन्तु ॥ आ भारती भारतीभिः सजोषा इळा देवैर्मनुष्येभिरग्निः । सरस्वती सारस्वतेभिरर्वाक्तिस्रो देवीर्बर्हिरेदं सदन्तु ॥
May Bharati, associated with the Bharatis; Iḷā with gods and men; and Agni and Sarasvatī with theSārasvatas; may the three goddesses sit down before us upon this sacred grass.

तन्न॑स्तु॒रीप॒मध॑ पोषयि॒त्नु देव॑ त्वष्ट॒र्वि र॑रा॒णः स्य॑स्व । यतो॑ वी॒रः क॑र्म॒ण्य॑: सु॒दक्षो॑ यु॒क्तग्रा॑वा॒ जाय॑ते दे॒वका॑मः ॥ तन्नस्तुरीपमध पोषयित्नु देव त्वष्टर्वि रराणः स्यस्व । यतो वीरः कर्मण्यः सुदक्षो युक्तग्रावा जायते देवकामः ॥
Divine Tvaṣṭā, being well-plural ased, give issue to our procreative vigour, whence (a son) manly,devout, vigorous, wielder of the Soma-bruising stone, and reverencing the gods, may be born.

वन॑स्प॒तेऽव॑ सृ॒जोप॑ दे॒वान॒ग्निर्ह॒विः श॑मि॒ता सू॑दयाति । सेदु॒ होता॑ स॒त्यत॑रो यजाति॒ यथा॑ दे॒वानां॒ जनि॑मानि॒ वेद॑ ॥ वनस्पतेऽव सृजोप देवानग्निर्हविः शमिता सूदयाति । सेदु होता सत्यतरो यजाति यथा देवानां जनिमानि वेद ॥
Vanaspati, bring the gods night; may Agni, the immolator, prepare the victim; let him who is truthofficiate as the ministering priest, for verily he knows the birth of the gods.
