श्रुत्वा दधिमुखस्येदं वचनं श्लक्ष्णमङ्गदः । अब्रवीत्तान् हरिश्रेष्ठो वाक्यं वाक्यविशारदः ॥ ५-६४-११
At these good words from Dadhimukha, Angada, the monkey leader, an eloquent speaker said this : . - ॥ 55-64-11॥
english translation
zrutvA dadhimukhasyedaM vacanaM zlakSNamaGgadaH । abravIttAn harizreSTho vAkyaM vAkyavizAradaH ॥ 5-64-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशङ्के श्रुतोऽयं वृत्तान्तो रामेण हरियूथपाः । तत्क्षमं नेह नः स्थातुं कृते कार्ये परन्तपाः ॥ ५-६४-१२
- "O scorcher of enemies I presume Rama has already heard the news of our arrival on accomplishment of the task. Hence it is not proper for us to tarry here. ॥ 5-64-12॥
english translation
zaGke zruto'yaM vRttAnto rAmeNa hariyUthapAH । tatkSamaM neha naH sthAtuM kRte kArye parantapAH ॥ 5-64-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपीत्वा मधु यथाकामं विश्रान्ता वनचारिणः । किं शेषं गमनं तत्र सुग्रीवो यत्र मे गुरुः ॥ ५-६४-१३
"The vanaras of the forest have taken rest after drinking as much honey as they desired. What is left here to do? We have to go wherever Sugriva is." ॥ 5-64-13॥
english translation
pItvA madhu yathAkAmaM vizrAntA vanacAriNaH । kiM zeSaM gamanaM tatra sugrIvo yatra me guruH ॥ 5-64-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वे यथा मां वक्ष्यन्ति समेत्य हरियूथपाः । तथास्मि कर्ता कर्तव्ये भवद्भिः परवानहम् ॥ ५-६४-१४
Angada said to the vanara troops assembled, "Tell me what we have to do. I shall act as you wish. ॥ 5-64-14॥

sarve yathA mAM vakSyanti sametya hariyUthapAH । tathAsmi kartA kartavye bhavadbhiH paravAnaham ॥ 5-64-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनाज्ञापयितुमीशोऽहं युवराजोऽस्मि यद्यपि । अयुक्तं कृतकर्माणो यूयं धर्षयितुं मया ॥ ५-६४-१५
"Even though I am heir apparent, it is not proper for me to order you.You have accomplished the purpose and to command you is not befitting on my part." ॥ 5-64-15॥

nAjJApayitumIzo'haM yuvarAjo'smi yadyapi । ayuktaM kRtakarmANo yUyaM dharSayituM mayA ॥ 5-64-15
