ततस्तु शिंशुपामूले जानकीं पर्युपस्थिताम् । अभिवाद्याब्रवीद्दिष्ट्या पश्यामि त्वामिहाक्षताम् ॥ ५-५६-१
Then Hanuman offered salutations to Janaki, stationed at the foot of the simsupa tree, and said, "Luckily I see you unscathed." ॥ 5-56-1॥

tatastu ziMzupAmUle jAnakIM paryupasthitAm । abhivAdyAbravIddiSTyA pazyAmi tvAmihAkSatAm ॥ 5-56-1
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्तं प्रस्थितं सीता वीक्षमाणा पुनः पुनः । भर्तृस्नेहान्वितं वाक्यं हनुमन्तमभाषत ॥ ५-५६-२
Looking at Hanuman again and again, as he was ready to start on his return journey, thus Sita spoke expressing her love for her husband : . - ॥ 5-56-2॥

tatastaM prasthitaM sItA vIkSamANA punaH punaH । bhartRsnehAnvitaM vAkyaM hanumantamabhASata ॥ 5-56-2
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकाममस्य त्वमेवैकः कार्यस्य परिसाधने । पर्याप्तः परवीरघ्न यशस्यस्ते बलोदयः ॥ ५-५६-३
- 'O destroyer of foes, you are capable of rescuing me singlehanded. Your success will raise your strength and bring glory. ॥ 5-56-3॥

kAmamasya tvamevaikaH kAryasya parisAdhane । paryAptaH paravIraghna yazasyaste balodayaH ॥ 5-56-3
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशरैस्तु सङ्कुलां कृत्वा लङ्कां परबलार्दनः । मां नयेद्यदि काकुत्स्थस्तत्तस्य सदृशं भवेत् ॥ ५-५६-४
'If Kakutstha Rama, the slayer of enemy forces comes to Lanka, fills it with his arrows and takes me back, it will be worthy of him. ॥ 5-56-4॥

zaraistu saGkulAM kRtvA laGkAM parabalArdanaH । mAM nayedyadi kAkutsthastattasya sadRzaM bhavet ॥ 5-56-4
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्यथा तस्य विक्रान्तमनुरूपं महात्मनः । भवत्याहवशूरस्य तथा त्वमुपपादय ॥ ५-५६-५
'You should act in such a manner that the exalted Rama, who is chivalrous in the battlefield, exhibits his valour worthy of his stature.' ॥ 5-56-5॥

tadyathA tasya vikrAntamanurUpaM mahAtmanaH । bhavatyAhavazUrasya tathA tvamupapAdaya ॥ 5-56-5
