रक्षिता जीवलोकस्य स्वजनस्याभिरक्षिता । रक्षिता स्वस्य वृत्तस्य धर्मस्य च परन्तपः ॥ ५-३५-१०
'Rama is a protector of the entire world of living beings not to speak of his own people. He is a protector of his own race. He guards righteousness. He is a scorcher of enemies. ॥ 5-35-10॥

rakSitA jIvalokasya svajanasyAbhirakSitA । rakSitA svasya vRttasya dharmasya ca parantapaH ॥ 5-35-10
