एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी दैवतैरभिसत्कृता । समुद्रमध्ये सुरसा बिभ्रती राक्षसं वपुः ॥ ५-१-१४९

Thus having been addressed and honoured by the gods, the divine being Surasa putting up a demoniac form, stood in the midst of the ocean. ॥ 5-1-149॥

evamuktA tu sA devI daivatairabhisatkRtA । samudramadhye surasA bibhratI rAkSasaM vapuH ॥ 5-1-149
