यथा दशरथस्येयं तथाऽयोध्या पुरी मम । प्रभुत्वे नास्ति सन्देहो यथार्हं कर्तुमर्हथ ॥ १-७२-१६

sanskrit

'As king Dasharatha's city of Ayodhya appertains ( in the matter of governance ) to you, in the same way my city of Mithila This right is unquestionable. So do ( give command ) whatever you think right.' ॥ 1-72-16॥

english translation

yathA dazarathasyeyaM tathA'yodhyA purI mama । prabhutve nAsti sandeho yathArhaM kartumarhatha ॥ 1-72-16
