तावत्प्रसादो भगवानग्निरूपो महाद्युतिः | कालाग्निना यथा पूर्वं त्रैलोक्यं दह्यतेऽखिलम् || १-६५-१७

- as that great-resplendent and most reverential sage turned out to be the embodiment of Fire-god, he should be appeased. As to how the End-Time Fire ( Pralaya ) entirely blazed away the the triad of worlds previously, now this sage may do likewise,..... - [1-65-17]

tAvatprasAdo bhagavAnagnirUpo mahAdyutiH | kAlAgninA yathA pUrvaM trailokyaM dahyate'khilam || 1-65-17
