असुरास्तेन दैतेयाः सुरास्तेनादितेः सुताः। हृष्टाः प्रमुदिताश्चासन् वारुणीग्रहणात् सुराः॥ १-४५-३८

Thereby the sons of Diti were called asuraa-s, and the sons of Aditi were called suraa-s, and gods were delighted and rejoiced on espousing Vaaruni. ॥ 1-45-38॥
