तत्तथा क्रियतां राजन् यज्ञोऽच्छिद्रः क्रतुर्भवेत् । सोऽपाध्यायवचः श्रुत्वा तस्मिन्सदसि पार्थिवः ॥१-३९-११

tattathA kriyatAM rAjan yajJo'cchidraH kraturbhavet । so'pAdhyAyavacaH zrutvA tasminsadasi pArthivaH ॥1-39-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptषष्टिं पुत्रसहस्राणि वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह । गतिं पुत्रा न पश्यामि रक्षसां पुरुषर्षभाः ॥१-३९-१२
- addressed his sixty thousand sons, saying: 'Oh ! sons, I do not envisage any way in for demons into this ritual, since oh ! best ones among men -॥ 1-39-12॥
english translation
SaSTiM putrasahasrANi vAkyametaduvAca ha । gatiM putrA na pazyAmi rakSasAM puruSarSabhAH ॥1-39-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमंत्रपूतैर्महाभागैरास्थितो हि महाक्रतुः । तद्गच्छत विचिन्वध्वं पुत्रका भद्रमस्तु वः ॥१-३९-१३
- holy-sanctifiers who themselves are sanctified by the Vedic-hymns are conducting this glorious Vedic-ritual, isn't it. Oh ! sons, you may therefore proceed to search for the horse and its thief and safety betides you all. - ॥ 1-39-13॥
english translation
maMtrapUtairmahAbhAgairAsthito hi mahAkratuH । tadgacchata vicinvadhvaM putrakA bhadramastu vaH ॥1-39-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमुद्रमालिनीं सर्वां पृथिवीमनुगच्छत । एकैकं योजनं पुत्रा विस्तारमभिगच्छत ॥ १-३९-१४
- Search on entire earth as far as it is garlanded by the ocean. Oh ! sons, acquiring yojana by yojana the length and breadth of the earth -॥ 1-39-14॥

samudramAlinIM sarvAM pRthivImanugacchata । ekaikaM yojanaM putrA vistAramabhigacchata ॥ 1-39-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयावत्तुरगसंदर्शस्तावत्खनत मेदिनीम् । तमेव हयहर्तारं मार्गमाणा ममाज्ञया ॥१-३९-१५
- search for the thief of the horse. Excavate the earth till the time the horse is found. This is my command'. ॥ 1-39-14॥

yAvatturagasaMdarzastAvatkhanata medinIm । tameva hayahartAraM mArgamANA mamAjJayA ॥1-39-15
