उद्गात्रे च ततोदीचीं दक्षिणैषा विनिर्मिता । अश्वमेधे महायज्ञे स्वयंभुविहिते पुरा ॥ १-१४-४४
And to udgaataa northern side is given in donation. These were the donations stipulated in that great ritual, ashwamedha, by the Self-Created Brahma from earlier times. [1-14-44]
