बिभेद च पुनः सालान् सप्तैकेन महेषुणा | गिरिं रसातलं चैव जनयन् प्रत्ययं तदा || १-१-६६

Then again Rama ripped through seven massive Saala (Palmyra) trees with only one great arrow, which not only went through the trees but also went through a mountain, and to the nethermost subterranean of earth, in order to create faith in the mind of Sugreeva. (The rasaatala is deepest subterranean plane, and it forms the base of other planes of earth called, atala, vitala, sutala, talaatala, mahaatala, rasaatala underneath the surface of earth up to its core.)
