यौवराज्येन संयोक्तुमैच्छत् प्रीत्या महीपतिः । तस्याभिषेकसंभारान् दृष्ट्वा भार्याथ कैकयी ॥ १-१-२१

He ॥ king Dasharatha ॥ affectionately desired to endow with regent-hood to Shri Rama. Then seeing the arrangements for the anointment of Rama as crown-prince, Kaikeyi, the dear wife and a queen of Dasaratha, ॥ 1-1-21॥
