तथारुपां हि वैदेहीं न दास्यन्ति यदि प्रियाम् । नाशयामि जगत्सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ॥ ३-६४-७१
If my beloved Vaidehi is not given back to me in her true form I will destroy the three worlds with all animate and inanimate beings.' ॥ 3-64-71॥
english translation
tathArupAM hi vaidehIM na dAsyanti yadi priyAm । nAzayAmi jagatsarvaM trailokyaM sacarAcaram ॥ 3-64-71
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्युक्त्वा रोषताम्राक्षो रामो निष्पीड्य कार्मुकम् । शरमादाय सन्दीप्तं घोरमाशीविषोपमम् ॥ ३-६४-७२
After speaking these words, Rama, his eyes red with anger, pressed his bow, took out the glowing arrow that was dreadful like a poisonous serpent - ॥ 3-64-72॥
english translation
ityuktvA roSatAmrAkSo rAmo niSpIDya kArmukam । zaramAdAya sandIptaM ghoramAzIviSopamam ॥ 3-64-72
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसन्धाय धनुषि श्रीमान्रामः परपुरञ्जयः । युगान्ताग्निरिव क्रुद्ध इदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥ ३-६४-७३
- and fixed it to his bow. The handsome ( Rama ) said these words in a rage like the fire at the time of dissolution of the world ॥ 3-64-73॥
english translation
sandhAya dhanuSi zrImAnrAmaH parapuraJjayaH । yugAntAgniriva kruddha idaM vacanamabravIt ॥ 3-64-73
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथा जरा यथा मृत्युर्यथा कालो यथा विधिः । नित्यं न प्रतिहन्यन्ते सर्वभूतेषु लक्ष्मण ॥ ३-६४-७४
Oh ! Lakshmana, just as all beings in this world cannot avoid age and death, or defy time and fate . - ॥ 3-64-74॥
english translation
yathA jarA yathA mRtyuryathA kAlo yathA vidhiH । nityaM na pratihanyante sarvabhUteSu lakSmaNa ॥ 3-64-74
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथाहं क्रोधसंयुक्तो न निवार्योऽस्मि सर्वथा । पुरेव मे चारुदंतीमनिन्दितां दिशन्ति सीतां यदि नाद्य मैथिलीम् । सदेवगन्धर्वमनुष्यपन्नगं जगत्सशैलं परिवर्तयाम्यहम् ॥ ३-६४-७५
- so also none can prevent me at all when I am angry. I will topsy-turvy this entire world including the gods, the gandharvas, human beings, serpents and mountains if they do not show me the princess from Mithila, who is blemishless and whose teeth are beautiful. ॥ 3-64-75॥

tathAhaM krodhasaMyukto na nivAryo'smi sarvathA । pureva me cArudaMtImaninditAM dizanti sItAM yadi nAdya maithilIm । sadevagandharvamanuSyapannagaM jagatsazailaM parivartayAmyaham ॥ 3-64-75
