पदवीपुरुषस्यैषा व्यक्तं कस्यापि रक्षसः । वैरं शतगुणं पश्य ममेदं जीवितान्तकम् ॥ ३-६४-५१
This indeed is the path the man or the demon has traversed. My enmity with him now has become hundredfold. This will end only with the extermination of his life. ॥ 3-64-51॥
english translation
padavIpuruSasyaiSA vyaktaM kasyApi rakSasaH । vairaM zataguNaM pazya mamedaM jIvitAntakam ॥ 3-64-51
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुघोरहृदयैस्सौम्य राक्षसैः कामरूपिभिः । हृता मृता वा सीता सा भक्षिता वा तपस्विनी ॥ ३-६४-५२
Oh ! handsome one, those demons can change their form at will and are of dreadful nature. Have they abducted or devoured or killed her ? ॥ 3-64-52॥
english translation
sughorahRdayaissaumya rAkSasaiH kAmarUpibhiH । hRtA mRtA vA sItA sA bhakSitA vA tapasvinI ॥ 3-64-52
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनधर्मस्त्रायते सीतां ह्रियमाणां महावने । भक्षितायां हि वैदेह्यां हृतायामपि लक्ष्मण ॥ ३-६४-५३
Even her righteousness could not protect the helpless Sita. If Vaidehi has been devoured or kidnapped, Oh ! Lakshmana - ॥ 3-64-53॥

nadharmastrAyate sItAM hriyamANAM mahAvane । bhakSitAyAM hi vaidehyAM hRtAyAmapi lakSmaNa ॥ 3-64-53
hk transliteration by Sanscriptके हि लोके प्रियं कर्तुं शक्तास्सौम्य ममेश्वराः । कर्तारमपि लोकानां शूरं करुणवेदिनम् ॥ ३-६४-५४
- oh ! handsome, none in this world or even gods could do anything to make me happy. Even the compassionate and heroic Creator of the worlds . - ॥ 3-64-54॥

ke hi loke priyaM kartuM zaktAssaumya mamezvarAH । kartAramapi lokAnAM zUraM karuNavedinam ॥ 3-64-54
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअज्ञानादवमन्येरत्सर्वभूतानि लक्ष्मण । मृदुं लोकहिते युक्तं दान्तं करुणवेदिनम् ॥ ३-६४-५५
- will be disrespected by all beings, however ignorantly (if such things are allowed to happen), oh ! Lakshmana. Oh ! gentle one, a man engaged in the welfare of the world, a man of self restraint and compassion - ॥ 3-64-55॥

ajJAnAdavamanyeratsarvabhUtAni lakSmaNa । mRduM lokahite yuktaM dAntaM karuNavedinam ॥ 3-64-55
