अज्ञानादवमन्येरत्सर्वभूतानि लक्ष्मण । मृदुं लोकहिते युक्तं दान्तं करुणवेदिनम् ॥ ३-६४-५५

- will be disrespected by all beings, however ignorantly (if such things are allowed to happen), oh ! Lakshmana. Oh ! gentle one, a man engaged in the welfare of the world, a man of self restraint and compassion - ॥ 3-64-55॥

english translation

ajJAnAdavamanyeratsarvabhUtAni lakSmaNa । mRduM lokahite yuktaM dAntaM karuNavedinam ॥ 3-64-55
