Oh ! Lakshmana, I cannot live without Sita. I am filled with deep grief on account of Sita's abduction. [3-61-6]

परलोके महाराजो नूनं द्रक्ष्यति मे पिता | कथं प्रतिज्ञां संश्रुत्य मया त्वमभियोजितः || ३-६१-७

My late father, the king will certainly see me in the other world ( I will definitely commit suicide ). ( In the other world my father will say surely ) How could, for the vow employed by me and promised by you,..... - [3-61-7]

paraloke mahArAjo nUnaM drakSyati me pitA | kathaM pratijJAM saMzrutya mayA tvamabhiyojitaH || 3-61-7

अपूरयित्वा तं कालं मत्सकाशमिहागतः | कामवृत्तमनार्यं मां मृषावादिनमेव च || ३-६१-८

- you come here without completing the appointed period ( of the vow taken ). You are irresponsible. You are ignoble. You are a liar. [3-61-8]

- pathetic. Oh ! lovely lady where have you gone, leaving me here like fame deserting a crook? Oh ! lady of slender waist, leave me not. [3-61-10]
