तथाप्यादाय वैदेहीं कुशली न गमिष्यसि । न शक्तस्त्वं बलाद्धर्तुं वैदेहीं मम पश्यतः ॥ ३-५०-२१
Even then I will not let you go safe with Vaidehi kidnapped. You cannot carry Vaidehi by force within my very sight just as . - ॥ 3-50-21॥

tathApyAdAya vaidehIM kuzalI na gamiSyasi । na zaktastvaM balAddhartuM vaidehIM mama pazyataH ॥ 3-50-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहेतुभिर्न्यायसंसिद्धैद्धृवां वेदश्रुतीमिव । युद्ध्यस्व यदि शूरोऽसि मुहूर्तं तिष्ठ रावण ॥ ३-५०-२२
- the everlasting revelations of the Vedas cannot be robbed by mere logic of reason. Oh ! Ravana, if you are brave, fight with me. In a moment - ॥ 3-50-22॥

hetubhirnyAyasaMsiddhaiddhRvAM vedazrutImiva । yuddhyasva yadi zUro'si muhUrtaM tiSTha rAvaNa ॥ 3-50-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशयिष्यसे हतो भूमौ यथापूर्वं खरस्तथा । असकृत्संयुगे येन निहता दैत्यदानवाः ॥ ३-५०-२३
- you will be killed like Khara and lie down on the ground. By whom, demons were slain many times in war - ॥ 3-50-23॥

zayiSyase hato bhUmau yathApUrvaM kharastathA । asakRtsaMyuge yena nihatA daityadAnavAH ॥ 3-50-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनचिराच्चीरवासास्त्वां रामो युधि वधिष्यति । किं नु शक्यं मया कर्तुं गतौदूरं नृपात्मजौ ॥ ३-५०-२४
- that Rama clad in bark garments, will soon kill you in war. What can I do? The two princes have gone far away - ॥ 3-50-24॥

nacirAccIravAsAstvAM rAmo yudhi vadhiSyati । kiM nu zakyaM mayA kartuM gataudUraM nRpAtmajau ॥ 3-50-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्षिप्रं त्वं नश्यसे नीच तयोर्भीतो न संशयः । न हि मे जीवमानस्य नयिष्यसि शुभामिमाम् ॥ ३-५०-२५
- oh ! mean fellow. You will soon be destroyed out of fear for them. There is no doubt. As long as I am alive, I will not let you take away the auspicious - ॥ 3-50-25॥

kSipraM tvaM nazyase nIca tayorbhIto na saMzayaH । na hi me jIvamAnasya nayiSyasi zubhAmimAm ॥ 3-50-25
