तन्नसिध्यति सौमित्रे तव वा भरतस्य वा । कथमिन्दीवरश्यामं पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणम् ॥ ३-४५-२५
Oh ! Lakshmana such intention of yours or even of Bharata's will not be fulfilled. He ( Rama ), who has eyes like the lotus petal, who has the complexion of the blue lotus, how . - ॥ 3-45-25॥

tannasidhyati saumitre tava vA bharatasya vA । kathamindIvarazyAmaM padmapatranibhekSaNam ॥ 3-45-25
